Hunting decimated the population of this beautiful creature badly, and it was one of the first species added to the U.S. endangered species list in 1973. The Florida panther’s current status is listed as endangered. Today there are only 120 to 130 Florida panthers left in the wild. The Florida panther is a North American cougar population found in South Florida. It lives in pinelands, tropical hardwood hammocks, and mixed freshwater swamp forests

Hope you enjoy the progression as this beautiful animal emerged from the paper.
