Blue Water Lily

A small pond and fountain are located in front of our church, and this painting was done at a time when the water lilies were blooming.  Although it was daylight, the water surrounding this water lily was black and the water was like a sheet of glass.  So still and relaxing.

The painting is done on Stonehenge Coldpress Black paper, 300 GSM 140 Lbs, 100% cotton and acid free.  Vibrant colors created with Premier Prismacolor colored pencils make the image pop off the paper.

This is an 8″x10″ image, matted to 11″x14″ and mounted on a backing board.  Exact reproductions using the giclee method are also available as well as greeting cards, bookmarks and more.
