HEADED SOUTH

Migratory geese, like these Canada geese, undertake seasonal journeys, typically flying south to warmer climates in the fall and returning north in the spring, often in a distinctive "V" formation, to find food and breeding grounds. This familiar scene is popular in our area during the cold winter months up North.
The oil painting is completed using multiple layers of paint on a large 24"x30" stretched/primed gallery wrapped canvas. The layering of pigment adds depth and texture to this impressive artwork.
