Cheetah
This oil painting is done on primed stretched 11"x14" canvas using artist quality paints. A custom museum quality frame has been chosen to present this image in a stunning combination.
Cheetahs are native to Africa and are considered the fastest land animal, capable of achieving speeds of 70 mph. Although they are in the cat family, they do not have retractable claws, but more resemble those of a dog. They are solitary animals except for the time during which females take care of cubs, but normally they do not live in prides for which lions are known.
[As with other paintings on my site, museum quality giclee reproductions are available. Please contact the artist directly.]
