This fine print-making process makes it possible to create and share fine art at an affordable cost, but difficult to see any difference from the original in color, values, or details. Many valuable pieces of original art work are shared using this process by transferring the image to a stretched canvas. Giclee art prints are better than a print that would come out of your home printer because giclee uses a 12-color printing system. Also, giclee printing inks are extremely high quality and can last a lifetime.
